New Business
Marketing
- Pete Korstad gave an update on radio spot ads and advertisements in Bobcat sports programs. Although, we are still unsure if we have secured the grant for the project.
- Halloween posters: Shanda will find the art for these posters. Motion to approve $75.00 for the project by Shanda, second by Jeff. Approved
- Obvious Ads: Bathroom ad proposal, $1000.00. MADD is doing the same campaign. Still open for discussion
- DUI Myth Campaign: Jenna reported it is going well. She is currently spending $238.00 a month for BoZone Ads. She is checking on ads for the Belgrade News and West Yellowstone. Need to approve a larger budget for funding through November. Motion for options for $1000-1500 by Susan, Second by Jeff. Passed.
- PSA- Jenna will do this for homecoming.
Other updates
- Open, brief discussion about membership drive.
- Interlock project on hold for now.
Finances
Mini-grants
- Belgrade P.D. application for camera. Discussion for consideration
- Jenna visited with Missoula DUI task force coordinator. They fund projects through contracts not mini-grants. Discussed the “Empty Dinner Party” idea
- HGN training as a possible line item. Jenna gave the information on costs to the group as provided by the Missoula DUI Task Force. In order to move forward on hosting a training here, someone would need to submit a mini grant proposal
Compliance Checks
- The county attorney is looking at the issue of DUI Task Force funding of compliance checks and will get back with us.
